Laura Monaghan ~ vocals, soprano
Susie McCann ~ vocals, mezzo soprano
Dianne Algate ~ vocals, alto
Mark Fitzgibbon ~ piano
Chloe Dempsey ~ drums
Paul Van Ross ~ trumpet
Accompanied by a live band Betty, Mabel & Dot, three characters inspired by the music, fashion and glamour of the 1940‘s sing songs from the Hollywood war era in perfect 3 part harmony reminiscent of the Andrew Sisters.  Their repertoire includes Hollywood classics such as ‘Boogie Woogie’, ‘Don’t Sit under the Apple Tree’ and ‘Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy. They have recently represented Australia in The World Championships of Performing Arts in Los Angeles and brought back 5 Golds for their country!

Red Dress & The Sugar Man  May 2018

Marisa Quigley ~ Narration / Lead vocals
Rudi Katterl ~ Guitar
Chris Mangan ~ Double bass / Piano
Bryan “Rolie” Dwyer ~ Drums
Priscilla Armstrong ~ Backing vocals
Bella Jeanne Rafaell ~ Backing vocals
A Knockout cabaret show intelligently constructed, written and wonderfully performed by Marissa Quigly. Marisa tells the tragic noir-style tale of Romeo and Rosie, teasing out the characters and taking us deeper into their worlds. Captivating performance poetry guides us from song to song as Marissa applies her strong, smoky singing voice as her band tastefully present the evocative music of Tom Waits to create a world of desire, doubt, temptation, and desperation.

Dr Crask & His Swingin’ Elixir Band  August 2018

Gregory Craske ~ double bass
Jen Salisbury ~ vocals
Stuart Ferguson ~ trumpet
Trent Howard ~ tenor sax
Aaron Rodriguez ~ baritone sax
Keaton Tait ~ guitar
Jim Dunlop ~ drums
Gregory Crask formed this band initially to play his charity event called Swingin’ The Blues Away 2013; a swing dance event that raised money for an organization dealing with mental health issues in our community. A keen Lindy Hopper himself, his focus has been on playing the tunes of the Savoy Ballroom era, and to re-imagine the jumpin’ vibe of this iconic dance hall with a smaller and more portable ensemble. The arrangements are both drawn from original charts and also arranged by members of the group. The lush horn section and guitar that draws on early blues forms provides a splash of individuality, and some red hot solos. The vocals of Jennifer Salisbury round off the sound with a timbre and delivery well- matched to the era of choice.

Bollywood  November 2018

Parvyn Singh ~ vocals, dance
Josh Bennett ~ guitar, sitar. Dilruba (bowed sitar), tabla, mandolin
Jay Dabgar ~ table
Ida Ghate ~ dance
Shamita Sivabalan ~ dance
A singer dances within, a dancer sings within. Parvyn Singh is both, and exudes a seemingly effortless grace and purity in her movement and voice. A colourful and exotic end of year treat. A celebration of Indian culture both traditional and contemporary. This show offers traditional Indian music featuring tabla, sitar and vocals as well as beautiful classical Indian dance contrasted by vibrant, energetic Bollywood dance routines.
