GAMC is delighted to have Leanne share her love of community music with us, planning a wonderful workshop for Choirs@Tyers on Saturday 21st March 2026 from 1030am. All attendees will have the opportunity to perform in the afternoon concert to celebrate our shared love of singing.
A qualified classroom music teacher, Leanne also runs various singing and ukulele sessions in Vic, Tas and NSW, often writing new songs to share within each community. She has co-founded an intermediate singing group called SongShed. Leanne has published Singing The Gold: Songs For Community with songs which has delighted and uplifted those who hear them.
She is currently working on an original show for community performers called Songs From A Suitcase, due to be staged in May 2026. More details can be found at https://www.leannemurphy.com.au/.
